Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 4, 2026 • Effective Immediately
At EverydayNumbers, our core privacy philosophy is simple: the numbers you calculate are none of our business. Our architecture is designed from the ground up so that your calculations remain private to your browser.
1. 100% Client-Side Computation (Zero Input Harvesting)
What We Do NOT Collect:
- We do NOT collect, record, or transmit user-entered salaries or hourly wages.
- We do NOT collect restaurant bill totals, tips, or group split amounts.
- We do NOT collect dates of birth, ages, or calendar milestone dates.
- We do NOT collect business sales, margins, commission rates, or profits.
- We do NOT collect passwords, financial accounts, or payment information.
When you enter values into any calculator or converter on EverydayNumbers, the formula executes directly on your device inside your web browser engine. No backend server receives your numbers, and no database records your session data.
2. Analytics & Product Interaction Telemetry
To monitor site reliability, understand which calculators are most useful, and fix broken links, we may collect anonymous, coarse-grained telemetry.
Allowed events are strictly operational:
- Page visits (e.g. "Percentage Calculator was viewed")
- Calculator completed (e.g. "Profit Margin Calculator completed with Mode: Markup")
- Result copied to clipboard (e.g. "Copy button clicked")
- Navigation to related tools or theme toggled
* Telemetry events never include numeric operands, result values, or personal identifiers.
3. Local Device Storage
EverydayNumbers does not use tracking cookies for core functionality. We may use your browser's local storage (localStorage) solely to remember your immediate non-sensitive UI preferences:
- Color theme preference (Light, Dark, or System)
- Last selected unit pairs (e.g. remembering your preference for meters to feet)
We never store financial numbers or calculation history in persistent storage.
4. Advertising & Third-Party Services
Advertising on EverydayNumbers is disabled by default. If advertising is enabled in the future via Google AdSense, third-party advertising partners may use cookies or web beacons to serve ads based on user visits to this and other websites.
Consent Framework: For visitors located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we utilize a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) adhering to the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.2). You can change or withdraw your consent choices at any time through our privacy settings.
5. Global Privacy Rights (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA)
Because EverydayNumbers does not require accounts and does not store personal calculation records on servers, we hold no user data to sell, monetize, or compromise in data breaches.
Under European (GDPR), UK, and California (CCPA/CPRA) laws, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete any personal information we may hold (such as direct email correspondence). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without explicit consent.
6. Contacting Us About Privacy
